Hana & Elliot — A Wedding at The Foundry Library

Late afternoon light through a tall curtained window in the room where Hana and Elliot married

The story

Hana and Elliot chose the Foundry Library for the reasons it already felt complete: tall windows, worn timber, and shelves carrying decades of use. The ceremony sat close to the books, with restrained flowers and music that suited the room rather than competing with it.

As daylight faded, guests moved naturally from reading room to dinner and back again. Clear sound, warm food, and pools of lamplight did most of the work; every other choice was edited until the building still felt like the place they had fallen for.

In their words

“We wanted the orchard to feel familiar, not staged. Even when the rain arrived, we never felt pulled out of the day or away from our people.”
