Elena & James — A Conservatory Wedding at Fairmount Glasshouse

The story

Elena and James chose the conservatory because it felt alive before a single arrangement arrived. Ferns framed the ceremony, early-summer rain patterned the glass, and dinner was set among citrus trees with the doors open to the garden.

The day was designed around movement rather than spectacle: cocktails in the potting rooms, family-style supper beneath the ironwork, and dancing after the greenhouse lights came on.

In their words

“We wanted the orchard to feel familiar, not staged. Even when the rain arrived, we never felt pulled out of the day or away from our people.”
